Danger Scout told me about what he had witnessed in room 202 at the Islander Motel just the day before. We had no idea that two Nurse Bettys had escaped the fire at PetroPharm Labs, but now we were sure that they rescued the Slug and are attempting to clone Grumbles all over again.
It is now also apparent that the Nurses must have failed an early test-tube attempt to re-create a clone of Grumbles. Pharmacist MARx has been given the ugly duty of finding out how to feed the poor creature they now refer to as "the Fish" that is now living submerged in their bath tub.
At first we did not think that the Slug would survive long enough to instruct Nurse Betty on how to clone a new Grumbles. With the Slug being kept alive on a ramshackle life support system, we did not think that he would be able to instruct them through the process of cloning Grumbles successfully for very long.
Now that we realize that the two Nurses are carrying the clones inside themselves, there is a good chance they will now succeed in their evil plot to clone Grumbles and rebuild PetroPharm Labs.
Danger Scout came to me with this unsettling news, and asked me to back him up. We decided it was time to pay the two Nurse Bettys a visit in Room 202.
