Saddam is captured near his hometown just in time for a merry Christmas shopping season. As President Bush approaches the Election 2004, it makes me wonder what climactic turn of events are in store for us. Would he be able to deliver Osama Bin Laden to the millions of television viewers in America?

Middle Eastern connections say that Saddam is not acting like himself. They speculate that he had been drugged. My suspicions, exactly. This once strongman looked so powerless against his captors. Could he have been captured long ago, and delivered to the world on this climactic moment? A Merry Christmas present to the world from dear old President Bush.
This moment too is important in the rebuilding of Iraq's society. They need to see their toppled leader humiliated and defeated, to truly understand that the old regime is no more. A few centuries ago there were the public square executions... nowadays, the press.
