Danger Scout and I were exhausted after dealing with Pharmacist MARx, and needed to catch up on some much needed rest. The next day after running some errands for Gran Ma Ma, I contacted Danger Scout. I had been thinking all day about last night's encounter as I shopped for Gran Ma Ma's groceries, Metamucil®, and Efferdent®. All I could think about were the weird things MARx was babbling. I wanted to find out more for myself about 'The Slug'. If somehow my Great Uncle who is assumed dead from a lab explosion in the early 70's is still being kept alive, I have to know. I knew if The Slug was anywhere, he's at PetroPharm Labs.

When we got there, the place was quiet. No way for me to sneak in through the back door again. We looked around, and we noticed something new. The trash collectors had left the dumpster out in the alley, far away from the wall that it usually is up against. Danger Scout noticed a door that is usually hidden by the dumpster that we had never seen before. I looked inside the little metal door which lead down a long dark tunnel under PetroPharm labs. I turned my walkie-talkie on, packed my flashlight, and left Danger Scout to stand guard outside as I crawled into the small dark hole.

Once deep inside I found myself coming up out of a hatch in the floor, and quickly found my way into the lab's dark hallway. I tried several doors until one opened, and what I saw astounded me. There were several Nurse Bettys all doing different tasks around the lab. Each one looking exactly as I do. The next thing I knew I blurted out "My God! They're Clones!" and they all turned and looked directly at me. Just then an intercom went off announcing an emergency in the lab (which I assumed was me), so I knew I had to act fast and fight my way out of there.
