Meteor Shower at The Point
I went to Alameda Point on the night of the Lunar Eclipse to get a good view. There are very few street lights in that area, so I knew I'd be able to really enjoy the eclipse. Suddenly to the north giant fireballs come exploding from the sky, hitting the nearby chain-link fence. I grabbed my camera and was able to squeeze off one shot of these strange firey particles as they came falling from the sky. I could not see where these were coming from, it was as if it was just coming out of the sky. Meteorites? I picked up what samples I could gather from the site and sent them to Livermore Labs to help me identify this phenomenon, but until now I'm still waiting for a response. They seem as flabergasted as I am. The Point gets more and more mysterious every time I come to this desolate retired Navy base.

This is definetly a fake, the street lights thingy in the story is correct though.. the "balls of fire" you see on the picture are the street lights. Just as ofek said, you can move the cam quick before taking a picture, or just adjust the pic in photoshop. Man this is fake...
