When I tried to enter Grumbles' Lab, I did not have the correct combination to the locks. Grumbles keeps a tight ship and must change the combinations often. If I had brought my hammer and chisel, or even my stethoscope I could have gotten in, but instead I decided to stake out the back entrance from the fenced lot across the alley.
It was cold, the winds off Evil Bay were making me wonder if my new hobby was really worth it, but then I got my opportunity. Some lights went on, and Grumbles himself stepped out, took a look around, and went back in. I was terrified at just the sight of him. I went around front and took a look inside the receptionist area, and off in the hallway, I got a glimpse of Nurse Betty.
By this time, I was freezing, and I didn't want to get caught by mean old Dr. Grumbles out here in the middle of nowhere. The Point is a creepy place at night, especially when you know someone like Grumbles is creeping around.
I am convinced that Dr. Grumbles manufactures almost every disease from AIDS to SARS right there inside that lab, which is a major intelligence hub for the people that decide when and where these ailments hit society at large. Epidemics are the outcome of board meetings conducted inside that building, and I am going to prove it. Once I get inside, and obtain the proof required to bring the whole operation into the open, we can all win the rights to our health back.
